Promotion refers to featuring your book in platform banners, recommendation lists, themed collections, or email campaigns. Here's how it works.
How books are selected for promotionThe editorial team selects books for promotion based on a combination of factors:
- Active contract status — only books with a signed, active contract are eligible.
- Update consistency — books that are updated regularly (new chapters published on schedule) rank higher.
- Reader engagement — read count, comments, and retention rate are considered.
- Book quality — cover, blurb, and writing quality are evaluated by the editorial team.
- Genre and season — some promotions are genre-specific or tied to seasonal themes.
There is no fixed promotion calendar. The editorial team runs promotions on an ongoing basis and selects books that best match current platform needs. Submitting a request does not guarantee or accelerate selection.
Can I request promotion for my book?Yes — you can send a promotion inquiry to support. Include your pen name, book title, and a brief note on why you believe your book is ready for promotion (e.g. chapter count, update frequency, reader stats). The editorial team reviews all requests but cannot confirm timing or guarantee inclusion.
Why was my book promoted and then removed from the banner?Featured slots rotate regularly to give more books visibility. Being removed from a banner does not indicate a quality issue — it simply means the slot was rotated to another title. Your book remains eligible for future promotions.
The Author Expert (AE) Program is an editorial partnership program that pairs selected writers with a dedicated editor from our team. Editors provide guidance on writing quality, chapter pacing, cover and blurb improvements, and platform promotion strategies.
What editors help with- Manuscript feedback and quality improvement suggestions
- Cover and blurb optimization for better reader conversion
- Advice on chapter release cadence and audience engagement
- Guidance on promotion timing and eligibility
The AE Program is available to writers who have an active contract on the platform. Selection is done by the editorial team based on manuscript quality, consistency of updates, and reader engagement metrics. There is no public application form — the team reaches out to eligible authors directly.
I applied for the AE Program but haven't heard backIf you submitted an inquiry about the AE Program and haven't received a response, contact support with the subject "AE Program inquiry" and include your pen name and book title. Our team will follow up within 3–5 business days.
Who is my assigned editor? If you are enrolled in the AE Program, your editor's name and contact details will be shared with you directly via email. If you're unsure whether you have an assigned editor, contact support.
